We at the Barclays International Football Academy (Barclays IFA Sport) try to treat our customers in exactly the same way we like to be treated ourselves. Our toes curl at the sight of small print, but in order to comply with on-line service provider legislation we are required to set out the Terms and Conditions of the service we offer. Therefore, please find below our 'small print'.
Before we continue, please note that, due to the age of our members (4 to 16), we only accept payment (the credit card details) form a Parent or Legal Guardian of the person wishing to sign-up with the Academy. Therefore, if you are not the Parent or Legal Guardian i.e. one of our future members, please obtain permission prior to completing the On-line Registration form. Thanks.
Barclays International Football Academy (Barclays IFA Sport) General Terms & Conditions and Privacy Statement
The following are the Terms and Conditions applicable to access to and/or use of www.intlfootballacademy.com (the 'Site') and Registering with the Barclays IFA Sport. By gaining access to and/or using the Site and completing the On-line Registration form, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws, rules and regulations. The Site is owned and operated by Barclays IFA Sport (license number 591838), with our registered office at PO Box 21769, Dubai, U.A.E. and we reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time by posting the new version on the Site, so please check regularly.
Restrictions on Use
The information and materials on the Site are provided for the personal use of customers or potential customers of Barclays IFA Sport. It contains information on sessions, events, locations and news relative to the Academy and football generally. It also contains our Registration form so you can reserve 'your' (your children's) place at the Academy. Except as expressly permitted by these Terms and Conditions, none of the Information nor any such content may be reproduced, copied, edited, published, transmitted or downloaded in any way without Barclays IFA Sport's prior written permission nor does Barclays IFA Sport grant any express or implied right to you under any of its trademarks, copyrights or other proprietary information.
Privacy and data protection
When registering with Barclays IFA Sport we ask for the name, address, credit card details, telephone number and e-mail address of the Parent or Legal Guardian of the person wishing to sign up. We also ask for information concerning any medical conditions with regards the person(s) wishing to train at the Academy so our staff/coaches can be made aware and in case of emergency. If you do not want your personal information (name, telephone no., email address) to be used by Barclays IFA for marketing purposes without your consent please advise us accordingly via info@intlfootballacademy.com. The Site and all Information and other content on the Site is the property of Barclays IFA Sport and/or its suppliers and is protected under international treaty provisions and world-wide copyright laws.
Credit Card Payment Information
Registration to the Academy is paid by supplying your credit/debit card details on the secure On-line Registration form. By registering with Barclays IFA Sport you are consenting to your financial and/or personal information being passed to any third party organisations necessary to process your transaction.However, Customers Credit Card Information is not kept on Barclays IFA Sports database or server. All transactions are encrypted and received and processed by our Merchant Service provider, the Financial Institute, Mashreqbank (www.mashreqbank.com) under 3D secure environment.
Availability
As the number of places at the Academy is limited we accept members on a "first come first serve" basis. If for any reason you do not receive an "e-receipt" once you have filled in and submitted the on-line registration form please contact us at info@inltfootballacademy.com and we will advise you accordingly. Please ensure the details you provide us with on registration are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to those details (e.g. change of email or postal address).
Communication
To fulfill our obligations to you under these Terms and Conditions we communicate with you by e-mail and by posting notices on the website. You agree to receive communications from us electronically and that electronic communications will satisfy any legal requirement for communications which need to be in writing.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your registration, please contact us immediately at info@intlfootballacademy.com. Refunds will only be given upon receipt of prior notice, due to reasonably extenuating circumstances, i.e. on medical grounds, leaving the country and at the discretion of the Management.
Alterations to this website and Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right at any time to make changes to this website, these On-line Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time you use the website. If any of the Terms and Conditions forming the contract between us are deemed invalid, void or unenforceable for any reason, it will be deemed severable and not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions.
Waiver
If you breach these Terms and Conditions and we take no action we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in other situations where you are in breach.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These On-line Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, as do we.
By selecting the I Accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy checkbox on the registration page, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and the Privacy Statement, which together constitute the entire agreement between us. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights, either as a consumer or otherwise.
