It'll be all Whyte on the night: Derek Whyte joins Barclays IFA
Derek Whyte, who has played in over 180 English Premiership games as well FA Cup Finals and World Cup Finals, is now working with us. Derek played for Scotland, Celtic, Aberdeen, Middlesbrough, and is a TV pundit on Prime Sport.
"I love coaching, especially with youngsters, and couldn't wait to get started after I was offered the chance to coach with Barclays IFA"
says Derek.
"At Barclays IFA, they are really trying to build an academy where youngsters become part of a club, their home for football if you like, which I think is great."
"The coaches are an excellent standard and my role will be to help develop the coaching syllabus. I will be getting my hands dirty by taking training sessions and lending my experience to ensure the kids enrolled with Barclays IFA achieve the highest level they can".
